Get Fit This Summer!




The early stages of summer are finally here and I’m sure we all want to look our best for the beaches and to wear shorts, sarongs, and bikinis! Will you enjoy laying on the beach and exposing your flesh? Are you the shape you want to be?

  1. Your plan is the beginning

Before rushing at your goal, take about 10 minutes and write out a routine of reference of which to go by. Include a healthier diet plan, exercise plan, and some specific goals.

  1. Follow your plan

Make sure you stick to your plan. It may be difficult to get into a regular routine for the first few days, but it gets to be something you look forward to every day once your body gets used to the changes you have made.

  1. Workout time

Now that your plan is complete and you are comfortable with what your goals are you can begin your exercises. For the first few weeks incorporate body-weight exercises (e.g. Push-ups, pull-ups, chin-ups, sit-ups, lunges and squats). These will condition your body to be able to perform better with weights.


  1. Learning is the key

In order to obtain that slim stomach or even just the right weight for you, you need to learn to eat healthily. Find the right plan for you and stick to it. 

  1. Start lifting

Once your body is starting to change from exercising, you can start lifting actual weights. These include but are not limited to dumbbells, barbells, or machines (Try avoiding machines as much as possible). Free weights allow your body to move more naturally while lifting, which also prevents injury.

  1. Confidence

After you are beginning to lose weight with the possibility of gaining some muscle, you will start to feel confident with your body. Do not settle for a small change go for the big!
